We are partnered with an organization that's consistently growing year after year and looking to add an experienced Civil Land Development Project Manager to lead and oversee land development projects from concept through completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of local permitting and regulatory processes in San Luis Obispo County.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all phases of civil land development projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government agencies to ensure project goals, budgets, and schedules are met.
Oversee preparation and review of civil engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
Facilitate permitting processes and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Lead project teams and provide mentorship to junior staff.
Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and address project issues proactively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in CA required
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing land development projects.
Strong knowledge of California land development regulations, codes, and permitting processes
Proficiency with civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
