Funeral Director / Embalmer – South Jersey

Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 | Full-Time | Management Growth Potential

GPAC is partnering with a well-established, family-owned funeral service organization in Southern New Jersey to identify a Funeral Director / Embalmer for an immediate opening.

With more than 60 years of service to its community, this respected organization offers an excellent working environment, a manageable call volume, and the opportunity for future advancement into leadership.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

• Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience
• Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekends: Generally off, with additional compensation when needed
• No Removals Required
• Call Volume: Approximately 200 calls annually
• Career Growth: Potential management opportunities within 2–3 years
• Future Schedule Flexibility: Possible four-day workweek

Qualifications

• New Jersey Funeral Director / Embalmer license or eligibility for applicable apprenticeship or licensure pathways
• Ability and willingness to perform both front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional appearance and commitment to exceptional family care
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• Leadership potential and interest in long-term career advancement
