We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of a diverse fleet of commercial trucks and hydraulic equipment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring maximum fleet uptime, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and overseeing a team of technicians in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of diesel trucks, hydraulic systems, preventative maintenance programs, and fleet operations, along with proven leadership experience.

Supervise and mentor diesel technicians and maintenance personnel
Schedule and prioritize preventative maintenance and repairs
Ensure maximum fleet uptime while minimizing repair costs
Oversee maintenance of Class 6–8 trucks, trailers, hydraulic systems, and related equipment
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Manage work orders, maintenance records, and repair documentation
Monitor parts inventory and coordinate purchasing with vendors
Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
Coordinate outside vendors for specialized repairs when necessary
Track maintenance KPIs, labor efficiency, and equipment performance
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and fleet replacement planning
Respond to emergency breakdowns and operational priorities as needed
5+ years of fleet maintenance experience, including supervisory or lead technician responsibilities
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and hydraulic equipment
Experience maintaining vocational trucks, refuse trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, heavy equipment, or similar commercial fleets preferred
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or fleet management software
Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus
ASE certifications or equivalent technical certifications are preferred
