We are currently working with a heavy equipment manufacturing company in Bremer County, IA who is seeking a diversified PLC Technician/Programmer. This position will engage with customers, suppliers, engineering and management to achieve the goals. This also includes providing service support to customer via phone or email. You will work with the management team to ensure that the objectives of a project are met, such as cost, quality, project timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travel to customer plant site to install plant controls, PLC, motors, electrical components.
Train customer personnel on operation of plant equipment and troubleshoot existing plant sites.
Supervise/undertake wiring installations and upgrade plant controls at existing plant sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3 years of experience. Formal training and /or schooling a plus along with professional knowledge of the theory, principals, and practices of electrical controls and wiring.
Good human relations skills to convey technical engineering concepts to others; and to work cooperatively with internal and external customers
Proficient technical writing skills to prepare product specifications, test, and process documentation
The position can be REMOTE!
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.
The salary range is $85-95k DOE
