Family Law Attorney
Location: San Antonio, TX
A respected and growing family law firm in San Antonio is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 3 to 7 years of experience to join its dedicated legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking to expand their courtroom experience and establish a robust litigation practice in a supportive, client-focused environment.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, a deep understanding of Texas family law, and the ability to manage cases from intake through final resolution. This firm offers meaningful client interaction, autonomy, and mentorship within a fast-paced and collegial setting.
Responsibilities:
Handle a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, modifications, and enforcement actions
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Communicate with clients regularly and manage expectations
Work collaboratively with support staff and senior attorneys
Qualifications and Requirements:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
3–7 years of experience practicing family law
Comfortable handling contested matters and appearing in court
Strong litigation, writing, and client communication skills
Motivated, organized, and able to manage a busy docket independently
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary range: $90,000 – $130,000, depending on experience
