An established Maine law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney to advise private-sector employers on workplace issues and represent them before regulatory agencies. This role offers the opportunity to bring your existing clients and grow your practice within a full-service firm.
What you’ll do
Counsel employers on hiring, discipline, termination, workplace policies, and compliance.
Help clients address workplace complaints and navigate employment disputes.
Represent employers before regulatory agencies.
Maintain and develop client relationships as you grow your practice.
What we’re looking for
5+ years of labor and employment law experience and a portable book of business.
Experience appearing before regulatory or administrative agencies.
Admission to the Maine Bar or eligibility for admission.
Strong legal writing, advocacy, and client counseling skills.
Litigation experience is a plus.
