Job Opportunity: Estate & Trust Litigation Attorney – Pittsburgh, PA

The team is dedicated to providing practical, efficient, and client-focused representation.
Currrently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Estate & Trust Litigation, Estate Planning, and Administration Practice Group in the Pittsburgh office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft substantive complaints, motions, oppositions, and pleadings for contested matters.
- Research and prepare memoranda on complex probate issues.
- Draft and respond to interrogatories, subpoenas, and document requests.
- Attend client meetings and court hearings.
- Draft comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, and health care proxies.
- Collaborate with financial professionals to minimize estate taxes and streamline estate planning processes.
- Establish durable and medical powers of attorney.
- Set up trusts to protect client assets and ensure efficient wealth transfer.
- Administer estates of varying sizes with strong paralegal support.
- Navigate Orphans’ Court litigation and address complex probate court matters.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of substantive experience in estate planning and administration.
- Proven experience in Orphans’ Court litigation and succession/business planning is preferred.
- Strong academic credentials with excellent organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
- A proactive, forward-thinking attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills for professional interactions with clients, staff, and management.
- Self-motivated problem solver who exercises sound judgment with minimal direction.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
