Seeking a highly motivated and industrious attorney to join our dynamic Real Estate Legal Practice Group in the Pittsburgh office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating complex documents for leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and property development.
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, partnership agreements, joint venture agreements, and entity governance documents.
- Review and analyze title abstracts, insurance commitments, policies, property surveys, deeds, and engineering reports.
- Conduct legal research and provide effective solutions for a range of real estate issues.
- Represent clients in zoning reviews and approval processes.
- Handle real estate tax appeal matters and litigation support for real estate-related disputes.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Stay current on real estate laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all transactions.
- Conduct due diligence, title examinations, and other real estate-related legal matters.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of substantive experience in transactional real estate law.
- Strong academic credentials with excellent organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge and experience with:
- Land use and planning matters.
- Real estate tax matters, including tax appeal challenges.
- Construction delivery systems and project agreements.
- Title underwriting processes.
