Controller – Steel Erection

A well-established steel erection company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and provide strategic insights to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll.
• Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and optimize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Manage WIP scheduling and job cost reporting for accurate project tracking.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate project costing, billing, and financial forecasting.
• Utilize Foundation Software for accounting and project financial management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction accounting, preferably in a company with both self-performed work and general contracting.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, including project costing, WIP schedules, and compliance.
• Experience with Foundation Software preferred.
• WIP (Work In Progress) scheduling experience is preferred
• Leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
