AP/AR Specialist

A well-established steel erection company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist to manage day-to-day financial transactions and support overall accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with job cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate records in Foundation Software and support month-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with project managers and vendors to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in construction accounting with a focus on AP/AR.
• Strong understanding of construction billing, lien waivers, and compliance documentation.
• Proficiency in Foundation Software preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
