An industry-leading fire protection company is pursuing a Fire Extinguisher Inspector for hire. The candidate should have fire extinguisher inspector experience. Fire Extinguisher Inspector Responsibilities:

• Performing regular inspections of fire extinguisher systems to ensure they are functioning properly
• Documenting the inspection results in a written report that outlines any issues found during the inspection
• Recommending repair or replacement of equipment as needed based on inspection findings
• Recommending changes based upon fire safety codes, regulations, or laws as needed to improve safety for all parties involved
• Ensuring that fire extinguishers meet applicable industry standards and codes
• Recommending improvements based on new technology developments or changes in fire safety standards
• Inspecting fire suppression equipment to ensure that they are working properly
• Identifying any potential hazards or safety concerns with regard to fire extinguisher systems

Fire Extinguisher Inspector Qualifications:

• Knowledge of building codes
• Communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude
• Problem-solving
• High School Diploma
• Driver’s license
