Position: Family Lawyer (minimum of 4+ years of experience with a book of business)

Locations: Vancouver - hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family law proceedings, including trials and hearings
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of legal documents
  • Identify and analyze a variety of legal issues and have the ability to distill large volumes of information into focused and simplified language to effectively advocate on behalf of your client
  • Conduct legal research and analysis and provide legal advice and direction based on your findings
  • Strong dedication to providing exceptional client service
  • Ability to manage a full caseload from initiation to resolution

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
  • 4+ years of experience in family law
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong litigation skills and drafting skills
  • A strong ability to prioritize competing demands and the ability to work under pressure
  • Empathy, integrity, and a client-focused approach
