Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Dermatology Histotechnician looking for your long term career?  Our clinic is looking for you!

As a Histotechnician, you will be responsible for processing skin tissue samples, preparing slides for microscopic analysis, and supporting our dermatologists in accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, label, and log skin biopsy specimens for processing.
• Perform tissue embedding, sectioning, and staining for microscopic examination.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of histology equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of specimen data and test results.
• Collaborate with dermatologists and laboratory staff to ensure timely and precise diagnoses.
• Adhere to strict laboratory safety and infection control protocols.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or licensure as a Histotechnician preferred.
• Prior experience in a dermatology or histology lab setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with various tissue processing techniques and staining procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
