Position Summary:
The Preconstruction Engineer supports estimating and planning by completing takeoffs, cost modeling, and bid coordination for a variety of commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings/specs for scope and constructability
Develop quantity takeoffs and cost analyses
Coordinate subcontractor pricing and bid clarifications
Support conceptual budgeting and early-phase planning
Qualifications:
1–4 years experience in estimating or engineering
Ability to read drawings and perform detailed takeoffs
