We’re partnering with a top-tier food storage and cold chain operation seeking a highly experienced O2 Refrigeration Technician / Maintenance Engineer to support and maintain large-scale, oxygen-controlled walk-in refrigeration and freezer systems.
This is a high-impact, critical role with a company known for exceptional stability, strong leadership, and a workplace where employees stay long-term.
Maintain and repair O2-controlled (low oxygen) refrigeration systems used in food preservation
Oversee large walk-in coolers and freezer environments
Perform preventative maintenance and system diagnostics to avoid downtime
Monitor and adjust controlled atmosphere storage systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components
Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
7+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration / maintenance engineering
REQUIRED: Certification to work on O2-controlled refrigeration systems
Strong background with large-scale walk-in refrigeration & freezer systems
Experience in food storage, cold chain, or controlled atmosphere environments
Knowledge of ammonia, Freon, or similar systems
Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in real time
$90K – $150K base salary (DOE)
