Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects with minimal supervision.
Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Established professional capable of running projects independently.
Project Experience:
- Extensive experience in managing multi-story construction projects.
- Proficient in handling projects involving structural steel and diverse construction methodologies.
- Experience in wood frame construction is highly desirable.
- Project involvement in sectors such as Apartments, Hotels, Hospitality, Higher Education, etc.
- Candidates with multi-family project experience are welcome, but diverse project background is preferred.
Financial Management:
- Experience managing project costs in the range of $12-25M or more.
Educational Qualifications:
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Candidates with significant relevant experience will be considered even without a degree.
Software Proficiency:
- Familiarity with Bluebeam and Excel.
- Additional construction management software knowledge is a plus but not a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full project lifecycle management, from conception to completion.
- Budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring project compliance.
- Coordination with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and building codes.
- Regular project reporting and stakeholder communication.
Qualities:
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
