A leading national litigation law firm is looking to add an experienced associate attorney to its General Liability Practice Group. This position is available at any of the firm’s California office locations: Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek.

The firm is recognized for its expertise in complex civil litigation, with focus areas including toxic torts, product liability, local government, general liability, and commercial litigation. They pride themselves on providing high-value results while working closely with clients in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a litigation caseload for both local and national accounts across California.
  • Handle discovery, including depositions, witness preparation, reviewing and responding to discovery requests, and preparing court filings.
  • Take lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
  • Assist in trial preparation and support during trials.
  • Maintain accurate time records and meet deadlines.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: product liability, transportation, aviation, and premises liability.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice in California.
  • Experience with motion practice and depositions.
  • Strong organizational, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and analyze complex legal matters.
