ASSISTANT ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Assistant Electrical Project Manager Compensation & Benefits:

The total compensation for the Assistant Electrical Project Manager falls within the range of $70,000 to $85,000, dependent on experience. Exceptional candidates with a history of outstanding performance may be considered for a higher range.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:

As an Assistant Electrical Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of projects and ensuring client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the project team to deliver high-quality results within scope, on time, and within budget.
• Assisting in driving division profitability through effective project management.
• Supporting project planning, scheduling, procurement, and contractual requirements.
• Evaluating and enhancing departmental processes to meet customer needs and profitability goals.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to team members, including direct reports.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and project-specific methodologies.
• Monitoring project schedules and adapting to changing priorities and customer requirements.
• Engaging with clients to understand and fulfill their expectations.
• Overseeing third-party construction firms when required.
• Participating in the project review process, particularly in financial forecasting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Electrical Project Manager role should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, particularly in electrical construction.
• Field experience in coordination with construction management.
• Proficiency in project scheduling, estimating, change orders, and contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and contribute to project acquisition.
• Strong skills in running a profitable portfolio.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, motivational, and leadership skills.
