Job Title: Project Manager – Miscellaneous Metals / Steel Fabrication

Job Type: Full-time

Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee fabrication projects involving miscellaneous metals, including stairs, handrails, guardrails, and related structural elements. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of project management experience in the misc. steel or metals fabrication industry and a solid understanding of construction workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of fabrication projects from contract award through final installation

  • Coordinate with drafting, shop, and field teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal departments

  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and change orders

  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents

  • Ensure quality standards and safety requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle

  • Resolve project-related issues quickly and effectively to maintain schedule and budget

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of project management experience in miscellaneous steel/metals fabrication

  • Strong knowledge of misc. metal components such as stairs, railings, ladders, and supports

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)

Preferred Attributes:

  • Field or shop experience in steel fabrication is a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
