Construction Litigation Attorney | Jacksonville, FL
A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Jacksonville office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator to work on complex construction defect and commercial construction disputes within a well-resourced, collaborative, and nationally recognized litigation team.
What You’ll Do
• Represent developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and insurers in construction defect and commercial construction litigation.
• Handle discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.
• Analyze claims, evaluate liability and damages, and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on high-value, multi-party disputes.
What We’re Looking For
• Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar (or ability to waive in).
• 3+ years of experience in construction litigation, construction defect, or related commercial litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Deposition, hearing, or trial experience preferred.
• Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating within a litigation team.
• Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
