Overview:
We are currently seeking a Construction Project Engineer. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in civil engineering, particularly in construction projects involving underground work. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a coachable attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to professional growth within the company. We are looking for a project engineer who is eager to learn and grow, willing to work their way up and become proficient in all aspects of project management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to plan, schedule, and execute projects effectively.
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist in estimating costs and developing project budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and expenditures.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and client expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of underground construction techniques and processes is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to adapt to changing job requirements and work environments.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
