Insurance Defense Attorney | Jacksonville, FL

A respected mid-sized Florida law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its Jacksonville office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator to handle a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters within a supportive, well-established, and growth-oriented team.

What You’ll Do
• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Manage a caseload involving general liability, premises liability, automobile, and property damage defense.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence.
• Develop case strategies, evaluate liability and damages, and provide accurate reporting to clients and carriers.
• Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and claims professionals to achieve efficient, favorable outcomes.

What We’re Looking For
• Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Background in civil litigation and/or insurance defense.
• Trial or deposition experience is a plus.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative litigation team.
