Qualifications

- 5-10 years of experience with large, complex projects as the primary site superintendent
- Skill with layout and the understanding of building plans and change orders
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
- In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Proficiency with Procore project management software or similar
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead and inspire
Responsibilities
- Your ability to read building plans, understand the interactions between various trades and subs, and manage the work of our team on-site while delivering excellent results are valuable to us
- Your responsibilities include oversight of all on-site activities during the construction process, the ability to demonstrate proper techniques to workers in various construction tasks, working with owners, subcontractors, and other vendors to ensure conflicts are resolved, schedules adhered to, and budget numbers respected
- Ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors
- Ability to effectively lead self-performing work teams
- Understanding of building schematics and identifying constructability issues
- Always maintain a safe and clean jobsite
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Plan construction processes
- Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities
- Keep track of material stock and orders
