We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support our heavy civil and highway construction team. This role will assist Project Managers and Superintendents with the day-to-day coordination of roadway, infrastructure, and sitework projects. The Project Engineer plays a key role in project documentation, communication, and field support to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.
The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in civil or commercial construction and is looking to continue growing within a heavy civil environment.
Support Project Managers with daily project operations
Assist with RFIs, submittals, change order documentation, and meeting minutes
Track schedules, material deliveries, and subcontractor activities
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost tracking
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
Participate in jobsite meetings and site walks
Support project closeout and final documentation
2–4 years of experience in civil or commercial construction
Experience with roadway, infrastructure, or sitework projects preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software
Willingness to learn and grow in a heavy civil environment
