Structural Steel Project Manager

(AISC Fabrication)

gpac is partnered with a successful Steel Fabricator that is adding fabrication space to their campus. They are searching for a Structural Steel Project Manager to manage $25-30M in projects. Our client company fabricates heavy structural steel for multiple sectors of the construction industry. Due to their location in Montana, they are open to assisting for the relocation to their beautiful "Island of Montana" mountain town.

Qualifications for Structural Steel Project Manager:

  • 5+ years of experience in the structural steel industry
  • Project Experience on Heavy Steel Construction
  • Knowledge of current AISC structural codes and standards
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities for Structural Steel Project Manager:

  • Project handed off from estimator; manage through completion
  • Manage range of $25-30M in WIP
  • Coordinate and communicate with team members
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients
  • Manage and monitor project budgets and schedules
  • Monitor and review changes in project scope
  • Ensure all materials, labor and equipment costs are accurately included in estimates
  • Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective strategies

Compensation/Benefits for Structural Steel Project Manager:

  • $100,000 - $140,000 base salary 
  • Negotiable Benefits
  • Performance Bonus
  • Commission
