Job Title: General Liability Associate Attorney

Practice Area: General Liability / Insurance Defense
I'm partnered with a well-established defense firm in California that’s looking to bring on a General Liability Associate Attorney with strong litigation experience. This group handles a steady caseload and is looking for someone who can step in and manage files with confidence while still having support from senior attorneys.
What the role involves:
Handling a range of general liability matters, including personal injury, premises liability, and property damage claims.
Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and responding to opposing counsel.
Taking and defending depositions and participating in hearings and pre-trial work.
Managing your own caseload from start to finish.
Advising clients on strategy, exposure, and risk.
Assisting with settlement negotiations and trial prep when needed.
What they’re looking for:
JD and active California Bar admission.
3+ years of experience in insurance defense or general liability litigation.
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Experience with depositions, court appearances, and motion practice.
Someone who is organized, detail-focused, and able to work independently while staying collaborative.
