Traveling Superintendent – Industrial Construction
A highly respected industrial contractor is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to join their growing team! With a strong backlog of nationwide industrial projects, they are looking for a Superintendent who can hit the ground running and lead crews across multiple states. Traveling Superintendent Responsibilities:
Oversee all onsite construction activities across industrial project sites
Manage subcontractors, field personnel, equipment, and schedules
Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and project specifications
Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and owners
Maintain a clean, efficient, and productive jobsite from start to finish
Regular travel to project sites across the U.S. is required
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on industrial construction projects (e.g., manufacturing, distribution, energy, or processing facilities)
Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, mechanical, and electrical scopes
Proven track record of completing large-scale projects on time and within budget
Exceptional leadership and communication skills
OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety training a plus
Willingness and ability to travel consistently and stay on location as needed
