Masonry Estimator- Commercial Construction

 

About the Opportunity: A highly reputable commercial masonry contractor is seeking a motivated Masonry Estimator to join their established estimating team. This company is known for delivering high-quality projects in higher education, K-12, military, and large-scale commercial sectors, with a collaborative, team-first culture where open communication and problem-solving are at the forefront.

The Role:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates, budgets, and cost plans for masonry projects.

  • Perform scope reviews, pre-contract, and post-contract negotiations.

  • Track and pursue outstanding bids while cultivating strong client relationships.

  • Collaborate in a team-oriented environment that emphasizes roundtable project discussions.

  • Review drawings with a strong technical understanding of masonry construction.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial masonry experience.

  • Familiarity with Tradesmen’s Master Estimating for Masonry.

  • Large project experience ($10M–$20M+), especially in higher education, K-12, and military work. (Retail experience like Publix/Kroger is a plus but not required.)

  • Strong computer literacy and ability to read and interpret drawings.

  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, problem-solving culture.

  • Degree not required — proven experience and skills matter most.
