We are seeking, on behalf of a reputable client, a Civil Project Engineer with a strong background in bridge design, construction, and rehabilitation to join our growing infrastructure team. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and brings deep expertise in bridgework to support the planning and execution of major civil projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the design, analysis, and construction management of bridge projects (steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures).
Prepare and review project documentation, including plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
Conduct site visits to monitor bridge construction progress and ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, surveyors, and DOT representatives.
Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management for civil infrastructure and bridge-related tasks.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
Coordinate with local and state agencies for project approvals and permitting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a strong emphasis on bridgework (design and/or construction).
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, STAAD, SAP2000, or similar.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
