Job Posting: General Liability Attorney
Job Type: Full-Time

General Liability Attorney Position Overview: We are looking for a talented General Liability Attorney with at least 2 years of civil litigation experience to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling litigation matters from inception through resolution and be comfortable managing cases, conducting discovery, drafting motions, taking depositions, and participating in mediations and settlement negotiations. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general liability litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other necessary filings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Take and defend depositions, participate in mediations, and engage in settlement negotiations.
• Develop case strategies and provide effective legal advice to clients.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to effectively manage cases.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and case law to provide optimal client service.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with general liability matters preferred.
• Strong litigation, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and mediations.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active licensed with CA Bar.
