Project Engineer - Federal Construction Projects

I’m currently partnering with a well-established Federal contractor that has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, mission-critical projects for clients such as USACE, NAVFAC, and other Federal agencies. They’re known for their strong culture, team collaboration, and commitment to building with integrity.

This company is looking to add a Project Engineer to their growing team to support upcoming ground-up and renovation Federal projects. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in a structured environment, and wants long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project coordination

  • Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation

  • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts

  • Track project progress and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors

  • Assist with compliance for Federal construction standards and reporting requirements

  • Participate in jobsite meetings and support project closeout documentation

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2–5+ years of experience in commercial or Federal construction

  • Familiarity with USACE/NAVFAC standards and processes

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software

  • Active or ability to obtain a Security Clearance preferred

  • OSHA 30 certification a plus
