Sr. Commercial Lines Account Executive, Large Market Construction
Hybrid - North Jersey | $150,000 - $200,000   

A premier, specialized firm focusing on bespoke insurance solutions and advanced risk mitigation in real estate development and healthcare industries is seeking a distinguished commercial account executive ready to step into a leadership role. 

This foundational role will build out the commercial brokerage operations managing large construciton accounts over $3M in permium each.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage Construction and Healthcare related accounts, including General Liability, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, and Builders Risk exposures. 
  • Oversee transitional team and hire new members to handle renewals, new business, and endorsements by collecting and reviewing payroll, loss runs, SOVs, fleet lists, subcontractor details, and project info. 
  • Prepare accurate underwriting submissions.
  • Create clear policy issuance and billing instructions to ensure timely and correct binding. 
  • Manage post-bind service needs such as carrier communication, certificates, claims notices, and onboarding
  • Address client, carrier, and internal questions on policy changes, audits, billing, endorsements, and coverage. 
  • Keep underwriting files organized and compliant with carrier and agency requirements. 

Ideal Traits:  

  • A strong leader with progressive employment growth history
  • Entrepreneurial who demonstrates follow-through and responsiveness
  • Familiarity with loss runs and commercial lines workflows
  • Licensed in P&C in NY required with familiarity with NY labor laws
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and high needs accounts
  • EPIC proficiency
