Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney to join our dynamic litigation team. The ideal candidate will have substantial, recent experience focusing on Labor and Employment law and be prepared to take on a challenging and rewarding caseload. This role requires an individual who is not only a seasoned litigator but also a strategic advisor.

Key Responsibilities of the Attorney

The successful Labor and Employment attorney will manage a diverse range of complex legal matters, including:

  • Trial Management: Managing all phases of litigation from initial complaint through trial, including complex motion practice, discovery, and case strategy development.
  • Advisory Role: Providing proactive counseling and advice to clients on compliance with state and federal Labor and Employment laws, including wage-and-hour issues, discrimination, and harassment claims.
  • Discovery & Depositions: Conducting and defending depositions, drafting and responding to discovery requests, and overseeing e-discovery processes.
  • Internal Investigations: Leading and conducting internal investigations related to employment matters.

Experience & Qualifications

We are looking for an exceptional Attorney with a proven track record in litigation:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Florida active bar membership in good standing.
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience specializing in Labor and Employment litigation and counseling.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a significant caseload and achieve favorable client outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on persuasive advocacy.
  • Experience representing management in employment disputes before state and federal courts and administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, state human rights commissions).
