Commercial Print General Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of digital print centers, including production, customer service, and quality.
- Manage both the financial and operational aspects of the service center location.
- Coordinate and lead the hiring, training, and performance of the staff.
- Prioritize workflow and optimize machine usage while consistently communicating with Regional Team.
- Monitor operational efficiency and productivity of staff.
- Identify process improvements and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor advantages, and emerging opportunities.
- Actively engage in production tasks and maintain customer communication throughout job lifecycles.
- Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, order processing, shipping/receiving and inventory tracking.
Commercial Print General Manager Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial print management experience with wide-format color printing a huge plus.
- Professional attitude with a demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships and mentor staff.
- Strong self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Desire to promote company products and services with conviction.
- Effectively and efficiently problem-solve and work well with all departments.
- Strong decision maker with a demonstrated ability to adapt to unique challenges.
- Proficiency in utilizing computer systems and software.
