Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. The LMFT will provide comprehensive mental health services, including assessments, therapy, and treatment planning, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes through evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and clinical evaluations

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions using DSM-5 criteria

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy

  • Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and other family systems approaches

  • Support crisis intervention, safety planning, and risk assessments as needed

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

  • Provide patient advocacy and connect clients to community resources and support services

  • Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination activities

Qualifications

  • Active LMFT license in the state of Texas

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited program

  • Experience providing outpatient mental health therapy preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills

  • Experience working with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan preferred

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
