Diesel MechanicFull-Time | On-Site | Competitive Pay | Waste Company

We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a growing waste and hauling company. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for someone with experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and waste equipment.

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel trucks and waste equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, air brake, and mechanical systems
• Work on roll-off trucks, side loaders, refuse trucks, and related equipment
• Diagnose engine, transmission, sensor, and electrical issues
• Communicate with drivers regarding equipment and maintenance needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment

Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Technician experience preferred
• Waste, refuse, or heavy truck experience is a strong plus
• Experience with hydraulics, air brakes, electrical systems, and diesel diagnostics
• Experience with Mack, Peterbilt, PACCAR, Freightliner, or similar trucks preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
