Position Overview

Currently seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate is a skilled litigator with experience in insurance defense who values strong client relationships and individualized representation. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across a wide range of industries while delivering high-quality, personalized legal solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in insurance defense matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trial.

  • Develop tailored legal strategies that align with each client’s specific needs and risk tolerance.

  • Provide clear, practical advice on risk management and litigation strategy.

  • Maintain strong, responsive communication with clients to ensure exceptional service.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the firm’s culture of excellence and client dedication.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the state bar in New York.

  • 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.

  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively.

  • A client-focused mindset and commitment to delivering tailored legal solutions.
