A well-established, fast-paced law firm is seeking a motivated attorney with approximately 2–5 years of experience to join its growing transactional practice. This position offers substantial client contact, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated legal matters in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Practice Areas

The firm's transactional practice focuses primarily on:

  • Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration
  • Business Formation, Governance, and Transactions
  • Real Estate Transactions
  • Commercial Contracts and General Business Counseling

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing matters independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and professional staff. Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, practical problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to outstanding client service are essential.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in South Dakota, or willing and eligible to obtain South Dakota licensure within a reasonable period following hire
  • Approximately 2–5 years of experience in one or more transactional practice areas
  • Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently
  • Desire to build lasting client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
