Job Description

Insurance Defense Associate Attorney – New Jersey (Hybrid) A respected law firm is seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join their New Jersey office. This is a hybrid position offering the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging insurance litigation cases in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury, property damage, and general liability matters

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

  • Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances

  • Collaborate with clients, carriers, and legal teams to develop effective strategies

  • Deliver timely and sound legal analysis and client guidance

What You Need to Bring:

  • JD from an accredited law school

  • Licensed to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania

  • 3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience

  • Strong legal writing, research, and case management skills

  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and negotiation abilities
