The Role

As a Title Opinions Attorney, you will be responsible for the research, analysis, and drafting of various types of certified title opinions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft detailed Drilling, Division Order, and Curative Title Opinions.
• Conduct complex title research and analysis for oil and gas assets.
• Ensure all title opinions comply with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clients and land teams to resolve complex title defects.
• Manage a dynamic caseload of title projects across the Permian and Bakken regions.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership in at least one state.
• Demonstrable, recent experience drafting certified Title Opinions Attorney work specifically in the Permian Basin and Bakken Basin.
• A proven history of delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality title work.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
