Family Law Associate Attorney 

GPAC has partnered with a well-established Family Law firm seeking a skilled Family Law Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This firm is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal services, guiding clients through complex family law matters with expertise and care. The ideal candidate is a strong litigator with excellent client advocacy skills and a passion for achieving the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family law cases, including mediation and court proceedings.

  • Provide clear legal counsel, explaining clients’ rights and options.

  • Draft and file legal documents such as petitions, motions, and briefs.

  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.

  • Negotiate settlements and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

  • Stay current on family law statutes, regulations, and case law.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Washington Bar admission and in good standing.

  • 3+ years of family law experience (divorce, custody, support, domestic violence).

  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills.

  • Ability to manage complex cases with professionalism and empathy.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience handling high-net-worth divorces or complex custody disputes.

  • Bilingual skills (preferred but not required).

  • Active membership in family law organizations.
