Job Title: PEMB Drafter (MBS Software)
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented PEMB Drafter with hands-on experience using MBS Software to produce accurate and efficient metal building designs. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience detailing pre-engineered metal buildings and a strong understanding of industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Create and modify metal building drawings using MBS Software
Produce accurate plans, elevations, sections, and connection details
Interpret architectural/engineering drawings and project specifications
Coordinate with engineering, project management, and fabrication teams
Ensure drawings comply with building codes, customer requirements, and company standards
Support revisions, RFI responses, and project updates as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of PEMB drafting experience using MBS Software
Strong understanding of metal building systems and components
Ability to read and interpret construction and structural drawings
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Effective communication and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred:
Experience working directly with PEMB manufacturers or fabricators
Knowledge of additional drafting or 3D modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla)
