Your Role & Responsibilities
- Drive Loan Growth – Proactively source, develop, and close SBA loan opportunities in your designated market.
- Manage a Thriving Portfolio – Build and oversee a high-quality SBA loan portfolio in the Southeastern region, driving substantial growth and profitability.
- Expert Loan Origination – Ensure compliance with SBA regulations while structuring loans that align with client needs and bank objectives.
- Client-Centric Approach – Assess financial status, creditworthiness, and collateral eligibility to tailor solutions that empower businesses.
- Streamline the Loan Process – Oversee deals from origination to closing, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and an exceptional client experience.
- Cross-Sell Banking Solutions – Promote additional bank products and services to enhance client relationships and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Strategic Collaboration – Work closely with senior management to execute regional growth strategies and drive overall success.
What You Bring to the Table
- SBA Lending Expertise – Minimum five years of SBA loan origination experience, preferably within a community banking environment.
- Proven Performance – Demonstrated ability to self-source and close at least $15 million in SBA loans annually.
- Financial Acumen – Strong knowledge of SBA lending, credit analysis, and financial structuring for complex transactions.
- Relationship-Driven Mindset – A track record of cross-selling banking products while managing and growing a diverse client portfolio.
- Self-Motivated and Detail-Oriented – Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy and compliance in all aspects of the lending process.
- Strong Communication Skills – Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
