Construction Layout Surveyor – Commercial Concrete Foundations

A growing commercial/industrial contractor is hiring an experienced construction layout professional who can independently perform jobsite layout for commercial and industrial concrete foundations using a Trimble robotic total station.

If you can set control, layout building grids, anchor bolts, and foundations accurately on an active jobsite, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform high-accuracy construction layout using a Trimble robotic total station
• Layout building lines, grids, foundations, anchor bolts, embeds, elevations, and control points
• Verify dimensions, perform as-builts, and ensure quality control across projects
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to keep jobs moving efficiently
• Assist with .DWG files, layout prep, and point generation in the office
• Support estimating and project teams with takeoffs, coordination, and constructability input

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience with construction layout for commercial/industrial projects
• Proficiency using a Trimble robotic total station
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and plans
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD / .DWG workflows
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy (this role is critical to project success)
• Willingness to work both in the field and in the office as needed
