Executive Director 

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Executive Director to lead a thriving senior living community in Minnesota. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident experiences, developing high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence.

As the Executive Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the community while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and resident-centered care. You will partner with department leaders to ensure exceptional service, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and continued community growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all community operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department managers to achieve operational and organizational goals.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused culture throughout the community.
  • Ensure exceptional resident satisfaction through proactive communication and timely resolution of concerns.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budget preparation, expense management, and operational planning.
  • Monitor occupancy goals and collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to support community growth through tours, outreach, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing senior living communities.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
  • Facilitate regular leadership meetings, staff training, and performance evaluations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Long-Term Care Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a senior living community, including Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) settings.
  • Proven leadership, team development, and operational management experience.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sales and marketing experience within senior living is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk throughout the community and perform routine inspections.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies as needed.
