Commercial Construction - Traveling Senior Superintendent

Location: Nationwide (Travel Required) - Company based in the Midwest

Salary Range: Starting base up to $150,000 (for the right candidate)

Company Overview: Join a leading general contractor specializing in multiple commercial sectors. This team is seeking a Traveling Superintendent with experience including DATA CENTERS, LARGE/COMPLEX COMMERCIAL BUILDS, and MORE. 

Job Description: The Commercial Construction Traveling Superintendent will oversee projects in various locations across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large, commercial ground-up builds to ensure projects with a minimum of 3-5 years experience. 

Traveling Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of multi-family renovation projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate daily site operations, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Supervise subcontractors, laborers, and on-site staff to ensure work is completed to high standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.
• Communicate regularly with property management, owners, and project managers to provide progress updates.
• Address any issues or delays promptly to minimize impact on residents.
• Travel to project sites as required, staying on-site to manage day-to-day operations.

Traveling Superintendent Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction with a focus on multi-family renovations.
• Experience working with occupied properties is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in diverse locations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to travel frequently and stay on-site as needed.
