Job Description

Overview: A leading food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations on 1st shift. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader with strong technical skills and a background in food or protein manufacturing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and schedule maintenance technicians on 1st shift

  • Ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues

  • Maintain compliance with food safety, OSHA, and GMP standards

  • Partner with production leadership to support efficient plant operations

  • Coordinate work orders, spare parts, and contractor activities

  • Drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and maintenance processes

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing (protein experience a plus)

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background

  • Knowledge of PLCs, packaging equipment, conveyors, mixers, and processing systems

  • Solid understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards

  • Excellent communication, organization, and team-building skills
