Want early responsibility in tax without being thrown in the deep end? This regional accounting firm has built its reputation on long-term client relationships and hands-on partner involvement. They are adding a Staff Tax Associate to their Tucson office.

About the Role:

• Learn tax software and workflows with guidance from seniors
• Handle multi-state filings and estimated tax calculations
• Work directly with clients to gather information and answer questions
• Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate and S corporation tax returns
• Assist with tax planning and year-end projections for business owners

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of public accounting tax experience
• CPA eligible or pursuing licensure preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• Solid understanding of federal and state tax regulations
• Working knowledge of CCH Axcess, UltraTax or similar tax software
