Employment Law Attorney – Seattle, WA

A highly regarded law firm in Seattle is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex employment law matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, wrongful termination, and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employment litigation cases from inception to resolution

  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs

  • Provide counsel on employment policies, compliance, and risk management

  • Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions

  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the firm’s strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Active Washington State Bar membership

  • Minimum of 3 years of employment law experience

  • Strong litigation skills, including depositions, motions practice, and case strategy

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a team
