Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Commercial Superintendent with a strong background in commercial retail construction. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience managing ground-up and/or interior renovation projects for national retail brands, restaurants, or big-box stores. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to lead job sites efficiently, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish.

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.

  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Maintain a strong focus on job site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.

  • Conduct site meetings and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

  • Handle project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve job site challenges proactively.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial retail construction (ground-up, remodels, tenant improvements).

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control.

  • Ability to travel extensively and manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
