Job Title: Traveling Commercial Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Commercial Superintendent with a strong background in commercial retail construction. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience managing ground-up and/or interior renovation projects for national retail brands, restaurants, or big-box stores. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to lead job sites efficiently, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Maintain a strong focus on job site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
Conduct site meetings and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
Handle project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders.
Troubleshoot and resolve job site challenges proactively.
3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial retail construction (ground-up, remodels, tenant improvements).
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
Ability to travel extensively and manage multiple projects.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
